Founded in Wuhan in 2014, TOUGE believes the best design is no design. Their blacksmiths — each with 20+ years at the forge — transform raw iron into vessels honoring centuries-old techniques.

CHANG DAHO · A century of chopstick craft
In 1920, Ge Changhe founded the Changdahe woodwork workshop in Dongyang, Zhejiang. A century later, Chang Daho continues his legacy with 10 collections — from mortise-and-tenon joinery to mother-of-pearl inlay and silver-tipped lacquerwork.

01
Forge
Our blacksmiths heat raw iron to forging temperature, then shape it with thousands of precise hammer strikes. The tortoiseshell pattern — a patented design — emerges from this patient, rhythmic process.
02
Temper
Through high heat and controlled quenching, the iron develops a skin-like surface texture. This creates a naturally non-stick cooking surface — zero coatings, zero chemicals, pure physics.
03
Season
Each pan is seasoned with plant-based oil before shipping — ready to cook on arrival. With daily use, the iron builds a natural patina that only improves with time. 10-year warranty. Lifetime repair.
Why titanium? The safest metal for your body.
Biocompatible — used in heart stents, joint replacements, and dental implants
Inert surface — forms a dense oxide layer, reacts with virtually nothing
Zero leaching — no heavy metals released into any beverage, hot or cold
Flavor-neutral — preserves the true taste of tea, coffee, and water

"The kettle arrived beautifully wrapped. When I first held it, I could feel the weight of tradition. Every morning now begins with this kettle — it has become a ritual."
"I cook with the pan almost every day. The iron has seasoned beautifully after six months. It's the kind of thing you'll pass down."
"We received the lacquer chopsticks as a wedding gift. The wooden box, the red-string greeting card — every detail felt deeply intentional. We use them every single night."
