Care Guide
Every Crafted Ware piece is built to last — but proper care helps it last even longer. Here's how to get the most from your craft.
Iron Cookware (Hand-Forged Iron Pan)
First use: Your pan arrives pre-seasoned with plant-based oil. Rinse with warm water before first use — no soap needed.
Daily cleaning: After cooking, rinse with hot water while the pan is still warm. Use a bamboo brush or soft sponge. Avoid harsh detergents or steel wool.
Re-seasoning: If the surface loses its non-stick quality, apply a thin layer of cooking oil and heat over medium flame for 2-3 minutes. Repeat 2-3 times.
Storage: Dry completely after washing. Store in a dry place. A light coat of oil before storage prevents rust.
Titanium Drinkware (Heritage Thermos, Titanium Portable Cup)
Cleaning: Wash with warm water and mild soap. Titanium's oxide layer makes it naturally resistant to stains and odors.
Avoid: Do not use bleach or abrasive cleaners. While titanium is extremely durable, harsh chemicals can damage the crystallized color finish.
Insulation: For vacuum-insulated pieces, do not microwave or place on direct flame.
Lacquer Chopsticks (Heirloom Chopsticks)
Cleaning: Hand wash with warm water and mild soap. Dry with a soft cloth.
Avoid: Never use a dishwasher — high heat and harsh detergent damage natural lacquer. Do not soak for extended periods.
Silver tips: Sterling silver may develop natural tarnish over time. This is normal. CHANGDAHE offers a renewal service to restore silver tips to their original luster.
Brass Lampshade
Patina: Brass naturally develops a warm patina with use and exposure to air. This is a feature, not a flaw — it adds character and warmth.
Cleaning: For a natural patina look, simply wipe with a dry cloth. To restore shine, use a brass-specific polish sparingly.
